Aboriginals have inhabited Australia for over 60,000 years. Theirs is the oldest, continuously running culture on Earth, and yet for the last 200 years the indigenous people of Australia have been dominated by a society directly at odds with their own. This domination has included a litany of dispossession including losing rights to their ancestral homelands. This project documents the families and individuals who have been able to return and live on their homelands and aims to highlight how essential this land is to the health of these communities and individuals.
